Gretchen Barretto


Currently, Barretto hosts a gameshow entitled "You and Me Against the World" on TV5, a channel owned by Cojuangco.
Barretto released her second album entitled "Complicated" .
Barretto had a song in 1984 entitled "Going Steady" which was used in the Regal Films movie "14 Going Steady".
She dreams of continuing her education. Her highest educational attainment is third year, high school.

Claudine Barretto

Claudine Barretto (born July 20, 1979) is a Filipino television and film actress. In 1992, she was discovered by Douglas Quijano. Barretto got a major break when she was cast as one of the mainstays of the top-rating youth-oriented show, Ang TV. When Home Along Da Riles was launched with the comedic actor, Dolphy, Barretto was cast as Dolphy's daughter, Bing. After that sitcom, she became a part of Oki Doki Doc starring Aga Muhlach, where she played the sister of Agot Isidro. Television roles
In 1992, she was discovered by talent manager Douglas Quijano, when her older sister Gretchen Barretto brought her to the debut party of friendRuffa Gutierrez at the Coconut Palace. That same year, she got her break on television when she was cast in ABS-CBN's youth-oriented musical variety show, Ang TV.
When Home Along Da Riles was launched with no other than the comedy king Dolphy top billing the sitcom, Claudine was casted as Dolphy's sweet and unassuming teenage daughter, Bing, for sitcom producers saw in her a potential Maria. After which, she again became part of another top-rated sitcom Oki Doki Doc, lead by Aga Muhlach, where she played the sister of Agot Isidro, Toni.
Claudine also did a telemovie together with Aga Muhlach titled Kailan Mo Ako Mamahalin?.
She practiced her hosting skills through variety shows, ASAP and MTB.
By 1993, Claudine already has 12 fans club in Metro Manila. Members are high school students like her.
Claudine was first in the history of Philippine television to star in 3 consecutive soap operas. Mula Sa Puso, which brought her to stardom, starring as the rich heiress Via, opposite the late Rico Yan; next was the two-year running Saan Ka Man Naroroon, where her performance as triplets Rosario, Rosenda and Rosemarie earned her a nomination for Best Actress in the Asian TV Awards in Singapore. And Sa Dulo Ng Walang Hanggan where she played the strong-willed yet revengeful Angeline Montenegro (Angelina in the past and Angeline in the present) who is in constant battle against the villains in her life who rejoices to see her fall and continues to hinder her to be with her one, true love.
After three consecutive soap operas, Barretto became part of the ensemble cast of 2003's two-season weekly series Buttercup. In 2004, she returned to primetime via the first modern fantaserye as the mermaid who is in search of the answer to the curse that was given to her by the sea deity Victoria, Marina. 2005's Ikaw ang Lahat sa Akin where she played the role of Nea Fontanilla. A fighter, who keeps her dignity intact, who is brimming with generosity and full of positive attitude. This was the first time that she was not directed by Wenn Deramas.
After getting married, Barretto was reunited with Deramas in 2007's Walang Kapalit, where she played the role of Melanie Borromeo, the young stepsister of Noel. She has always wanted an older brother to protect her, but ended up with Noel, who seems to harbor an inexplicable hate towards her. She tends to get hurt easily, but will also put a good fight when challenged. Her life changes forever when she unexpectedly falls in love with Noel.
After giving birth, she played the role originated by Susan Roces in the 20-episode sineserye Maligno in 2008. She was Angela Cortez, a well-known newscaster, who was chosen to give birth to a demon child and although she tries to escape it, destiny catches up with her who then realizes that her son is doomed to become a satanic cult's chosen one.. This was followed by Iisa Pa Lamang, a love story that showed us the real meaning of love. She played Catherine Ramirez, an oppressed provincial girl who lost her one true love in the hands of a scheming woman. Heart-broken, homeless and rejected, Catherine strived to build a new life. Soon, blessings and opportunities come for Catherine; she then becomes a complex woman with complex values and intentions. But Catherine realizes that in order to break free from the past, she must find it in her heart to forget and forgive... before she can truly attain the happiness and true love that eluded her all these years.
Her last appearance on ABS-CBN was a special guest role in 2009's May Bukas Pa.
Upon her move to GMA 7, she was signed to star in a drama anthology entitled Claudine, which premiered on April 10, 2010.
Aside from her sitcoms and teleseryes, Claudine also did some other shows such as Star Drama Theater, Wansapanataym, Flames, Buttercup, Komiks, Star Magic Presents and Your Song.



Francine Prieto


Education

Francine studied B.S. Psychology in Adamson University but was unable to finish her degree.



Career

She began her career in the entertainment industry as a member of That's Entertainment. In her teen years she showed the makings of a high-profile model that got her into the modeling industry. So much so that at 13 she was fielded in the Elite Model Search (formerly Look of the Year) and she emerged as one of the finalists. Top model Linda Evangelista flew into Manila to judge the search. At such a young age she was expected to become one of the strongest models in the country standing shoulder to shoulder with professional models like Victoria Fidler, Karen Timbol, Phoemala Baranda, Pia Serrano and eventual winner Roleen Caralde.
Francine Prieto, then known as Anna Marie Falcon burned the ramps and photo shoots with her stunning Eurasian features towering at 5'10 in her teen years. As a professional model this time, she joined Bodyshots competition and landed as 1st Runner-Up. It opened more doors for her in the modeling industry for years. At 19, stunning and dazzling more than ever, she again entered in a yet another major beauty contest in the Philippines as a candidate in the Binibining Pilipinas pageant where she was predicted to capture one of the major titles. Unfortunately, she only managed to reach the Top 15 finalists. The movies came after her loss at the Binibining Pilipinas.
As an actress she did several sexy roles as a Seiko Films contract star together with Diana Zubiri. But her biggest break came when she played Queen Avria in Etheria, the second book of Encantadia. She has also done comic roles in Bubble Gang where she was one of the mainstays. She recently played Kuran, a villainess in Kamandag. She also played a supporting role as Aureana in Codename: Asero. In Early 2009 she played Sheila, one of the villains in Ang Babaeng Hinugot Sa Aking Tadyang. Currently, she plays Mrs. Smith in Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo. Francine cut her contract with GMA-7 after the show Bubble Gang ended. She is now a Kapamilya star although her contract is non-exclusive.
She is also a radio host in DZMM 630 in the program Ka-Date W/ Bobby Yan. Ka-Date airs 12am-2pm Tuesdays to Saturdays.



Isabel Preysler


Early years

Preysler was born in Manila, Philippines, the third of six children to a wealthy family. She attended a private Roman Catholic school; Her father, Carlos Preysler y Pérez de Tagle, was the executive director of Philippine Airlines and on the Board of Directors for El Banco Español de Manila (Spanish Bank of Manila), while her mother, María Beatriz Arrastia y Reynares, was the owner of a real estate company in Manila.She is of FilipinoSpanish and Basque descent
The Perez de Tagle family produced copra and abaca, which was the main ingredient in ropes and other products prior to the invention of nylon.
The Arrastía family is from the province of Pampanga. Their old town was Lubao, site of the ancient San Nicolas Tolentino Cathedral. The Arrastías used to own one of the largest haciendas there, most of which were utilized to plant rice and sugarcane.

During her youth, Preysler was a model who participated in beauty pageants and charity events for the Sheraton Hotels and Resorts in Manila and went on to win titles in several events. At the age of 16, she migrated to Madrid in Spain to live with her uncle and aunt and to study at Mary Ward College, an Irish Catholic University in Spain, where she studied accounting.
Preysler began working as a journalist for Spanish magazine ¡Hola! in 1970, and her first interviewee was her future husband Julio Iglesias. In 1984, she hosted a Spanish lifestyle television programme, "Hoy en Casa", and has hosted and appeared in various programs since. In May 2001, she was Prince Charles' guest of honour for the opening of his Spanish Garden at the Chelsea Flower Show in England. She was his guest of honor again in 2005 at a garden party during a holiday to Spain by the Royal Crown. In 2004, Preysler became Spain's welcoming host for David and Victoria Beckham when she hosted a welcoming party at her house for the celebrity couple. She became close friends with Victoria and was often photographed shopping with her during their stay in Madrid.
Preysler continues to be the national spokesmodel for Ferrero RocherSuárez jewelry, Manolo Blahnik shoes, Chrysler cars and Porcelanosatiles, for which American hollywood actor George Clooney recently worked with her in 2006 to represent the brand in an advertising campaign.
Readers at Hola magazine have voted Preysler as the most elegant and best-dressed woman in Spain for 1991, 2002 and 2006 In 2006, Preysler was also honored along with Hillary ClintonShakira and Yoko Ono among others with the Women Together Award, which honors women for their philanthropical contributions to the United Nations in New York, making her the first Filipino woman in history to win the award
In 2007, she and her daughters were invited by Prince Charles of England to be guests of honor at the Clarence house at their estate in theUnited Kingdom and was voted out of a total of more than 40,000 Hola magazine readers as the most elegant woman in Spain.

Personal life

In 1970, Preysler was introduced to a football player named Julio Iglesias, who just signed a recording contract to become a singer. Iglesias invited her to watch a Juan Pardo concert.The couple was married seven months later on January 29, 1971. They were married for seven years and had three children, Chabeli IglesiasJulio Iglesias Jr. and Enrique Iglesias. Their marriage was annulled in 1979.
Preysler married the Marques de Griñón, Carlos Falcó, on March 23, 1980. The short-lived marriage resulted in the birth of a second daughter, Tamara Falcó. She later married former Spanish finance minister Miguel Boyer, with whom she had another daughter, Ana Boyer. In 1987, her two sisters immigrated to Spain with their families to be closer to Isabel. She holds dual citizenship in both the Philippines and Spain.
Her father, Carlos Preysler, is deceased and her mother, Beatriz Preysler, lives in Miami with son Enrique Iglesias.[
